Abstract
La prise en charge de l’homoparentalite lesbienne s’inscrit dans un consensus scientifique quant au devenir favorable des enfants eleves sans pere. Des lors, le role du medecin en assistance medicale a la procreation (AMP) est egalement d’assumer son role de scientifique au sein de la societe civile en diffusant l’information aupres de la population et des decideurs politiques afin d’œuvrer a la construction d’une societe exempte de discrimination basee sur l’orientation sexuelle. Un grand nombre de pays europeens, ainsi que de nombreux Etats americains et le Canada, encadrent l’homoparentalite dans un contexte juridique favorable a une bonne integration de la difference. La preparation a la parentalite alternative s’inscrit comme un principe de precaution et ce dans le cadre d’une prise en charge pluridisciplinaire. La prise en charge medicale par insemination artificielle avec donneur (IAD) doit tenir compte de la particularite de ces couples fertiles sans oublier que l’effet de l’âge reste le principal facteur pronostique dans le cadre d’un pronostic globalement plus favorable que pour les couples infertiles.
