Abstract
El artículo analiza el ensayo de J.A. Schumpeter titulado “Desarrollo”, intentando su reinterpretación a la luz de los aportes provenientes de la denominada Sociología Reflexiva. Con ello se intenta actualizar las proposiciones del autor a lo que, en nuestra interpretación, constituyen las transformaciones culturales propias de la sociedad del presente. Las sugerencias analíticas que surgen de este ejercicio, permiten a su vez una lectura del actual proceso de desarrollo que tiene lugar en el caso de la sociedad Argentina. El artículo finaliza, aportando algunos elementos que pudieran permitir una caracterización no convencional de la epistemología schumpeteriana del desarrollo esbozada en el artículo materia de este trabajo.
