Abstract
Aqui se exponen, por un lado, experiencias del Sistema de Contratacion en Origen instituido en la agricultura andaluza (Espana) hace apenas una decada, a traves del cual se contrata una media de 32 000 trabajadoras, en su mayoria mujeres procedentes de Europa del Este y Marruecos, para cubrir la demanda de mano de obra migrante en la plantacion y pizca de fresa en Huelva. Por otro, experiencias del Programa de Trabajadores Agricolas de Temporada Mexico-Canada (PTAT), implantado desde hace mas de tres decenios y por el que se canaliza la contratacion de 15 849 trabajadores mexicanos (2008): 97% corresponde a hombres y 3% a mujeres.
