Le postcolonial compar anglophonie, francophonie, relve le dfi d'ouvrir un dialogue inter et transdisciplinaire rassemblant les tudes de spcialistes de disciplines diffrentes, de la littrature l'anthropologie, de la linguistique l'histoire et aux sciences humaines au sens large. Brisant les cloisonnements disciplinaires, mais aussi linguistiques et nationaux, cet ouvrage se propose de frayer de nouvelles pistes pour la comprhension des rapports entre la littrature, la production culturelle et la politique dans la mondialisation actuelle. Les tudes qui y sont runies, prenant comme point de dpart les postcolonial studies anglophones, s'interrogent sur l'histoire connecte des empires coloniaux britannique et franais et entament une rflexion sur les diffrentes approches intellectuelles et idologiques qui ont fond leurs histoires compares.
