Abstract

La politique scolaire tend vers une formation professionnelle polyvalente. Ceci aura pour résultat inévitable une déqualification. Nous optons pour une qualification qui donne au jeune travailleur le sentiment de posséder une identité professionnelle. Ce n’est qu’à partir de cette identité que le jeune travailleur peut véritablement développer une capacité de maîtrise de son environnement professionnel et social. Cependant dans ce domaine, l’école a un rôle et, au-delà des illusions qu’elle entretient bien souvent dans l’esprit de ses élèves concernant leur avenir professionnel, elle possède comme atout majeur, les stages. Ceux-ci peuvent être l’occasion pour les jeunes de mettre leurs connaissances scolaires en pratique et surtout d’enrichir leur expérience sociale du travail et donc leur donner matière à exercer réellement une capacité d’analyse de la réalité du monde du travail. Cela nécessite cependant un long et patient travail de coopération en équipe, d’acceptation de la relativité des expériences des autres, de capacité progressive d’émettre des hypothèses explicatives aux problèmes rencontrés, bref de découvrir des phénomènes plus généraux sous-tendant le vécu personnel. C’est dans cette perspective commune et complète qu’est utilisée la « pédagogie du projet ». La réalisation commune et complète d’une tâche productive dans tout son processus de fabrication et de vente produit plusieurs effets fondamentaux comme : donner confiance aux jeunes, les stimuler à mener des actions collectives, les familiariser à l’analyse des facteurs sociaux.
