Abstract
Canada’s national influenza surveillance system, FluWatch, now in its 12th year, is coordinated through the Centre for Immunization and Respiratory Infectious Diseases (CIRID), Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). The program collects data and information from various sources in order to provide a national picture of influenza activity. This report provides a summary of the results on influenza activity in Canada during the current 2007-2008 season from 26 August 2007 up to and including 17 May 2008.
