Abstract
Cette recherche collaborative entreprise par la chercheuse et un entraîneur de hockey vise à décrire et comprendre l'impact de l'expérimentation d'un dispositif de cercle de lecture auprès d'une équipe de jeunes garçons francophones de 9 et 10 ans du Nouveau-Brunswick.L'étude se penche particulièrement sur le vécu de six lecteurs désengagés participant au projet.L'analyse qualitative des données recueillies par entrevues, questionnaires et observations démontre que la motivation a été soutenue et généralisée durant toute la tenue du cercle de lecture et que les lecteurs désengagés ont évolué vers l'engagement.L'analyse fait ressortir certains éléments clés ayant contribué au succès du projet de cercle de lecture au sein de l'équipe de hockey.
