Abstract
Cet article offre un aperçu de la nouvelle francophone en Colombie-Britannique, en considérant quelques-uns de ses auteurs les mieux connus tels que Jean-Claude Castex, Monique Genuist, Inge Israël, Marguerite-A. Primeau et Christian Récizac. Issue du milieu minoritaire et migrant de la Colombie-Britannique francophone, la nouvelle franco-colombienne est marquée au niveau thématique par les synergies et les tensions créatrices engendrées par le va-et-vient du récit diasporal entre la terre natale et la terre d’accueil, entre la nostalgie et la mémoire nationale, entre l’espace urbain et la grande nature tant valorisée dans les mythes sociaux dominants de la Côte du Pacifique.
