Recension des écrits sur les effets psychologiques à long terme des événements catastrophiques et présentation d'une étude menée auprès de 42 aînés ayant été exposés à la catastrophe survenue en 1971 dans ce village du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean alors qu'ils étaient jeunes adultes, concernant leurs souvenirs marquants et perceptions de l'événement et ses impacts à long terme sur leur conception de la vie et leurs croyances.
