Abstract
La compréhension en vue de la rédaction implique l’identification des concepts essentiels d’un texte. Elle nécessite l’interaction de processus intellectuels complexes. Les schémas intellectuels permettent aux individus d’encoder la réalité les entourant et d’emmagasiner l’information perçue. Des unités cognitives organisées telles les concepts, les propositions et les épisodes représentent des objets ou des événements. Pour ce faire, les mémoires à court terme et à long terme encodent cette information. Ces différentes structures cognitives sont activées lors de la lecture d’un texte et de la rédaction de son résumé. Le processus de « condensation » s’apparente à une chaîne d’opérations qui transforment le texte original en éliminant les informations superflues. Dans son modèle pour la rédaction de résumés, Pinto Molina (1995) considère, d’une part, les données textuelles, et d’autre part, les données documentaires à savoir le rédacteur, les intentions de production et les demandes des utilisateurs, en somme le contexte de rédaction.
