Abstract
Des entrevues qualitatives en profondeur ont ete effectuees afin d'examiner les comportements informationnels universitaires des etudiants malvoyants de 1 er cycle, et plus specifiquement la technologie adaptative. Les resultats preliminaires revelent que les comportements informationnels des etudiants sont ameliores par la technologie, les reseaux actifs de soutien, et la determination personnelle des etudiants. Les resultats demontrent egalement que les etudiants luttent contre les contraintes de temps, le sentiment de dependance, le manque de comprehension de la part d'autrui et l'acces limite au materiel electronique. L'article explore les possibilites d'ameliorations pour les services de bibliotheque, incluant les echanges entre bibliotheques des ressources adaptees (par exemple, le materiel braille) et la creation de services facilitant les comportements informationnels des etudiants malvoyants, tout en maintenant l'independance personnelle.
