Pour Silviu Purcarete, ne a Bucarest en 1950 et directeur de theâtre, la realite ultime et la signification du monde dans lequel nous vivons se decouvrent dans le theâtre, ce monde parallele ou tous nos defauts et qualites, sentiments et croyances, actes et gestes sont mis en relief. L'A. propose une courte biographie de cet artiste. Ensuite elle expose ses idees sur l'art, chemin vers Dieu, puis sa maniere de travailler. Enfin elle examine son rapport avec la tragedie antique.
