Abstract
開拓臺灣北部長老敎會的馬偕牧師(Rev. George Leslie Mackay, 1844 - 1901)爲第一位加拿大長老敎會遣派至海外宣敎士, 奠定了今天臺灣北部長老敎會的發展基礎, 其貢獻흔大. 他的中文名字叫偕叡理, 但臺灣人叫他馬偕牧師. 1844年3月21日, 馬偕出生在加拿大安大略省(Ontario)牛津鎭的佐拉(Zorra)村, 幷在一個蘇格蘭移民家庭裡成長, 父母是典型的長老會信徒, 有淸敎徒堅貞的信仰, 幷恪守敬虔的家庭生活. 馬偕牧師在臺灣北部宣敎共歷時29年, 其間建立了60間敎堂, 充分展現堅忍不拔的信仰精神. 臺灣長老敎會在臺北建立馬偕紀念醫院(Mackay Memorial Hospital), 以紀念馬偕牧師的宣敎精神, 幷不斷散播馬偕牧師愛臺灣的精神. 馬偕牧師是臺灣北部長老敎會的代表性人物, 而且他在臺灣北部的宣敎上擁有輝煌的成就, 成爲我們今日的好榜樣, 馬偕牧師的精神是値得學習·敬佩以及紀念的. 本人非常佩服馬偕牧師的宣敎態度和精神, 尤其對他所採取的宣敎策略非常感興趣, 於是根據先進學者專家的硏究成果, 馬偕牧師的宣敎策略分成「巡廻宣敎」·「本土人的自立宣敎」·「醫療宣敎」和「敎育宣敎」等四種策略, 本文欲將以上四項策略加以分析討論, 一方面用以紀念馬偕牧師的宣敎精神, 靈一方面, 希望將馬偕墓師的宣敎精神傳播給韓國宣敎士, 作爲華人宣敎工作上的參考.
