Abstract
Le couple histoire/mémoire et la question des représentations culturelles sont, depuis de nombreuses années, au cœur de débats scientifiques, sociaux et politiques. Les recherches menées dans le cadre du programme Imasud (Suds imaginaires, imaginaire des Suds. Héritages, mémoires, représentations en Méditerranée), soutenu entre 2008 et 2010 par l’ANR, le laboratoire Telemme et la Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l’Homme d’Aix-en-Provence, avaient pour objectif d’aborder cette relation à la lumière de différents cas méditerranéens. Leur comparaison a permis de souligner l’émergence de nouveaux acteurs prenant place désormais dans l’élaboration des mémoires méditerranéennes, en phase avec la tendance générale de fragmentation des discours sur le passé, entre politique patrimoniales et revendications politiques des minorités.
