Abstract
En mai 1982, le Conseil du trésor du Québec alloue un montant de 2,5 $ millions au ministère des Communications pour administrer l’édition gouvernementale. Cette somme constitue un fonds renouvelable permettant à la Direction générale des publications gouvernementales l’adoption de pratiques propres aux entreprises commerciales. Après avoir rappelé le contexte de l’édition gouvernementale d’avant 1980, l’auteur décrit les facteurs qui ont mené à l’établissement de nouvelles politiques et l’articulation du processus actuel de l’édition gouvernementale québécoise.
