This study explores the issues in managing knowledge, the knowledge sharing needs of the employees and strategies and technologies adopted to facilitate knowledge organization and sharing in a medium sized public library. The findings would contribute towards better managerial practices and policies, and advancement in developing better knowledge management systems for libraries.Cette étude explore les enjeux de la gestion de la connaissance, des besoins de partage des connaissances des employés ainsi que des stratégies et technologies adoptées pour faciliter l'organisation et le partage des connaissances dans une bibliothèque publique de taille moyenne. Les résultats permettraient l'élaboration de meilleures pratiques et politiques de gestion et le développement de systèmes de gestion de la connaissance mieux adaptés aux bibliothèques.
