Cet article prsente une partie des rsultats d'une recherche mene dans trois coles francophones du Nouveau-Brunswick qui ont particip au projet Accs direct l'ordinateur portatif . Il examine la gestion du processus rdactionnel et la qualit des textes crits par des lves de 7 e et 8 e anne dans le cadre de deux projets interdisciplinaires bass sur l'apprentissage par problmes. Les donnes recueillies (documents CamStudio, textes produits dans le cadre de ces projets, entrevues avec les participants, observations des chercheurs), ont permis de rpondre la question principale : quel est l'apport de l'accs direct l'ordinateur portatif dans l'apprentissage de l'criture? Les rsultats indiquent que les lves rdigent des textes de bonne qualit en ce qui a trait la grammaire du texte, mais que les erreurs d'orthographe grammaticale restent nombreuses. Les lves crivent davantage cause de la rapidit du traitement de texte et de l'accs facile aux outils de correction. Ils font alors des apprentissages sur le plan d'une gestion plus efficace du processus rdactionnel.
