Abstract
La littérature d’une discipline est constituée habituellement de périodiques, de manuels, de monographies et de parapublications. Parmi les périodiques, on compte des périodiques spécialisés et, dans les disciplines professionnelles, les périodiques produits par les associations professionnelles. Dans les disciplines jeunes, comme l’archivistique, les périodiques professionnels constituent la plus grande partie de cette littérature. À partir du cas de l’archivistique et de celui de la revue Archives , l’auteure présente le rôle d’une telle revue pour les membres de la profession ainsi que pour l’enseignement et la recherche.
