Abstract
Since 1950, Turkish-Cypriots migrated to different countries such as Australia, Canada, Turkey, and mainly England because of some economical, political, and educational reasons. In order to have heard from their families and inform their own conditions, the Turkish-Cypriots, living in a society with a different religion, language, and culture, used various communicative means which played an important role on their continuance of the bound to their native culture. In this study, the main focus will be given to letter, radio, newspaper, television and computer as the major means of communication with their folkloristic function, place and importance on the Turkish-Cypriots’ lives.
