Abstract
Objetivo: relatar a experiência de acadêmicos de Enfermagem durante um ano de execução de uma Liga Acadêmica de Estomaterapia. Metodologia: Trata-se de um relato da experiência de atividades realizadas por acadêmicos de enfermagem, membros da Liga da Universidade Estadual do Piauí Resultados: Durante o período de um ano complementou-se o conhecimento acerca das três áreas da Estomaterapia (feridas, estomias e incontinências) por meio de atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão. Durante as aulas, os alunos tiveram oportunidades de fazer questionamentos e relatar suas experiências. Os membros também puderam aplicar todo o conhecimento adquirido na prática clínica, aprimorando as suas capacidades e contribuindo com a melhoria da assistência prestada à população. Além disso, alguns membros da Liga participaram de eventos científicos, como expositores de trabalhos científicos. Conclusão: A Liga tem se constituído uma ferramenta eficaz, capaz de despertar a autonomia na busca do conhecimento necessário para a formação de profissionais com conhecimento, habilidades e atitudes para a práxis da Estomaterapia.
