Ottawa Rsum La communaut d'apprentissage didactique visant spcifiquement le dveloppement professionnel des enseignants en sciences ncessite que des tudes plus approfondies soient effectues pour mieux accompagner les praticiens dans l'ajustement de leur rpertoire de pratiques en enseignement des sciences et de la technologie. Une analyse critique du concept de littraties multiples fournit certaines assises pour orienter ces communauts d'apprentissage didactiques en sciences et en technologie, en fournissant des modles et des outils pour guider l'accompagnement. tant orient spcifiquement vers les sciences, le modle d'Investigation guide pour le dveloppement des littraties multiples (IGdLM) est susceptible d'inspirer les enseignants (Palincsar, Magnusson, Marano, Ford et Brown, 1998) au sein d'une communaut d'apprentissage didactique. Travailler conjointement dvelopper des pratiques pdagogiques qui incitent les lves lire, crire et parler de sciences peut guider l'enseignant pour amliorer l'apprentissage des sciences en classe (Lemke, 1990). Ce texte aborde galement le contexte minoritaire francophone en Ontario et le double dfi qu'il prsente pour les enseignants qui dsirent ajuster leur rpertoire de pratiques dans le domaine des sciences et de la technologie.
