Abstract
L’auteur dresse un tableau de plusieurs constructions récentes de bibliothèques en France à la suite de visites effectuées en février 2000 dans le cadre du colloque international « Architectures et Bibliothèques ». Il fait ressortir leurs particularités architecturales, lesquelles suggèrent un changement dans la conception des bibliothèques municipales, tant chez les élus que chez les citoyens et les bibliothécaires.
