Evaluation of MIEC Ce0.8Y0.1Mn0.1O2-δAnode in Electrolyte-Supported SOFC
Bibliographic record
Abstract
In this study, the electrochemical performance of a single phase, mixed ion and electron conducting (MIEC) Ce 0.8 Y 0.1 Mn 0.1 O 2-δ (10CYMO) anode was evaluated using symmetrical half-cell and full-cell configurations under humidified H 2 , 10 ppm H 2 S/H 2 , and CH 4 . An yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) electrolyte support layer was used in this work, as ac impedance spectroscopy revealed that the 10CYMO/YSZ/10CYMO cell gave the lowest area specific polarization resistance (ASR) of 0.23 Ωcm 2 at 800°C in wet H 2 , compared to La 0.8 Sr 0.2 Ga 0.8 Mg 0.2 O 3-δ (LSGM) and Zr 0.89 Sc 0.1 Ce 0.01 O 2-δ (ScSZ). Exposure of the 10CYMO anodes to 10 ppm H 2 S/H 2 , either in a half-cell or full cell configuration, showed slight enhancement on the electrochemical performance, which was explained using a concept describing the sulfur and ceria interaction. The performance of a 10CYMO/YSZ/La 0.8 Sr 0.2 MnO 3-δ _ YSZ full cell was evaluated under 90%H 2 -N 2 /3%H 2 O, giving a power density of 75 mW/cm 2 at 800°C and is better than seen for other fluorite-based anodes reported in the literature.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
