L’évaluation en éducation relative à l’environnement (ErE) fait l’objet de plusieurs approches liées à la diversité des conceptions, tant en évaluation qu’en ErE. C’est partant de la typologie de Robottom et Hart (1993) pour l’ErE que les auteures ont dérivé la leur pour l’évaluation en ErE. Elles mettent en évidence les caractéristiques de chacune des tendances, soit l’ErE positiviste, interprétative et socialement critique, pour faire émerger les points essentiels des trois types d’évaluation qui s’y rapportent et qui sont susceptibles de répondre aux questions soulevées.
