Abstract
La bibliothèque du Jardin botanique de Montréal possède des collections intéressantes en botanique, horticulture, aménagement paysager et écologie végétale. La bibliothèque a été restructurée et présente une image dynamique en fonction des multiples services qu’elle offre à ses usagers internes. Elle est ouverte au public pour consultation. Les volumes et brochures sont classés selon une classification spécifique décimale. Un répertoire spécialisé de vedettes-matière sert à l’indexation des monographies et au dépouillement des périodiques. Le processus d’informatisation des catalogues manuels a été entrepris. La médiathèque et la salle de lecture du pavillon japonais sont des centres documentaires satellites.
