Abstract
レンゴー八潮工場は,工場をあげての省エネルギーに取り組んでおり,その活動は社会的にも様々な面で認められてきている。本報では,その活動の一環として行った,余剰蒸気の回収を目的としたサーモコンプレッサーの検討・導入について述べる。レンゴーの抄紙機ではサーモコンプレッサーの使用経験が無かったが,最低限必要な制御機器の構成を見出すことができ,操業の妨げになるような問題も無く,電力を消費することなく余剰蒸気の回収が可能であるという結果が得られた。サーモコンプレッサーを用いた余剰蒸気の回収は,今回は必ずしも最適な設計とはならなかったが,抄紙機条件によっては非常に有効なシステムになると思われる。
