Abstract
Dass die récriture, die Rekonstruktion eines fiktionalen Textes in einem neuen, mehr ist als die bloße literarische Aneignung oder Abgrenzung von Vorbildern, zeigt sich par excellence am Gegenwartsroman aus Québec. Die in diesem Buch untersuchten Spielarten der récriture aus der ehemaligen französischen und britischen Kolonie veranschaulichen die Komplexität des kategorie- und grenzüberschreitenden literarischen Wi(e)derschreibens. Indem die vorgestellten Autoren aus der Belle Province eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit Literatur in der Literatur inszenieren, schreiben sie sich mit den entstehenden Meta-Romanen in die internationale literarische Postmoderne ein.
