Abstract
Les bibliothèques ou les médiathèques peuvent jouer un rôle primordial dans les activités d’apprentissage, ainsi que dans l’acquisition d’habiletés intellectuelles de base. L’auteur résume ici les grandes lignes d’une recherche effectuée dans six écoles polyvalentes francophones de la région de Montréal et aborde successivement les points suivants : la problématique et la recension des écrits, l’exploration théorique sur la place de la bibliothèque/médiathèque en éducation, la méthodologie de l’enquête sur le terrain et l’analyse des résultats.
