Lectura sociocrítica de El olvido que seremos: de la culpa moral a la culpa ética

Abstract
En este artículo se intenta mostrar, desde la perspectiva de la sociocrítica de Edmond Cros, cómo el texto El olvido que seremos comienza como una biografía del padre amado muerto por sicarios —manipulados por un sector de la extrema derecha política y religiosa colombiana, cuya ideología se impone a las mayorías como doxa hegemónica— y termina como una autobiografía del narrador-hijo. A pesar de que a lo largo del texto aparece un discurso racional y escéptico del narrador, a menudo este se le escapa para dejar aflorar, no conscientemente y a la manera de confesión, un sentimiento de conciencia escindida y culpable propio de un discurso cristiano de la cultura occidental. La biografía y la autobiografía terminan siendo confesión liberadora de sí mismo ante los otros, los lectores.
