Abstract
Les récentes réformes en éducation mettent l’accent sur la formation de futurs travailleurs autonomes et polyvalents avec une solide formation de base. Les bibliothèques tant primaires que secondaires sont appelées à jouer un rôle primordial dans la formation des jeunes à la maîtrise de l’information. Des bibliothèques entièrement informatisées et accessibles offriront des services axés sur la pédagogie. Au primaire, des activités de lecture et d’écriture mettront à contribution la bibliothèque et la micro-informatique. Au secondaire, l’accès à des banques de données sur CD-ROM et à la communication télématique contribueront à développer chez les élèves une ouverture sur notre culture et celle des autres. Des partenariats entreprise-parents-école seront créés pour pallier aux difficultés financières actuelles et des équipes multidisciplinaires travailleront en étroite collaboration. En tout temps, il faudra affirmer notre leadership professionnel.
