Abstract
Cet article trace le bilan des programmes de promotion des habiletes sociales s'adressant aux enfants de 5 a 12 ans frequentant une classe reguliere. Les auteures procedent tout d'abord a une description desprogrammes et a l'analyse des recherches evaluatives effectuees a leur propos. Les effets de ces programmes de promotion sont ensuite examines tant au plan de l'acquisition et de l'utilisation des habiletes sociales qu au plan des impacts sur ladaptation sociale et sur le maintien et le transfert des acquis. Il appert que les programmes de promotion des habiletes sociales parviennent a enrichit le repertoire comportemental des enfants, mais que les effets sur l'utilisation des habiletes sociales acquises dans de veritables situations ainsi que sur l'adaptation sociale des enfants sont moins assures.
