Ionic Liquid Complexes for Metal Extractions and Biphasic Catalysis
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Over the last few years, we have been engaged in the synthesis of ionic liquids bearing ethylamine diacetic acid ligands, -(CH2)2N(CH2COOH)2, for extraction of different metal ions from aqueous solutions. These ionic liquids form stable complexes with metal ions such as copper(II), nickel(II), cobalt(II), and zinc(II). In an extension to the above approach, we have designed and synthesised an imidazolium based ionic liquid containing a salicylaldoxime ligand that has demonstrated promising results in the formation of a stable complex with copper (II). The complex was characterised by single crystal X-ray crystallography and ESI-MS. Yet another related strategy pertaining to complexes of transition metals involves the preparation of an imidazolium ion containing a salen ligand. We are currently studying the ability of the ionic liquid-salen-metal complexes to act as catalysts in organic reactions.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
