L'Action politique des mouvements sociaux d'aujourd'hui.Le déclin du politique comme procès de politisation ?, Québec, Les Presses de l'Université Laval, 2005, 141 p.Les grands partis traditionnels du mouvement ouvrier, les partis de la social-démocratie fondés à la fin du XIXe siècle, ne sont plus un lieu ni un mécanisme de formation en classe des travailleurs salariés et des défavorisés.Ils ne servent plus à constituer en force distincte le mouvement de revendications issu du rapport entre le travail et le capital.Ne peuvent, non plus, prétendre à ce rôle les partis communistes fondés à partir de 1919 dans le cadre de la me Internationale, aujourd'hui remodelés ou « refondés » après avoir été dénaturés par le stalinisme.Les deux grandes tendances du mouvement ouvrier du :xxe siècle, issues toutes deux du tronc commun des partis de classe apparus dans le dernier quart du XIXe siècle, n'assument plus cette fonction.Le moment actuel n'est pas un simple épisode d'instabilité, de mécontentement au sein des partis du mouvement ouvrier, de faiblesse programmatique.Il ne saurait être vu comme une simple crise d'orientation ou de direction.Il faut le saisir comme un moment de tarissement et d'extinction de leur caractère ouvrier, de disjonction d'avec leur fonction d'origine, en somme comme un moment de déliquescence de ces partis en tant que partis ouvriers.À quoi ce développement d'une importance historique peut-il donner lieu ?Comment peut-il être « dépassé », la dynamique de classe continuant Association québécoise d'histoire politique
