Efek gas rumah kaca ditanggapi banyak pihak untuk menggalakkan penggunaan moda transportasi ramah lingkungan, salah satunya adalah sepeda. Pengembangan wisata sepeda di Kota Bandung masih memerlukan pengemasan produk serta sarana dan prasarana penunjang pariwisata yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan wisatawan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kota Bandung memiliki potensi besar bagi pengembangan wisata sepeda. Karakteristik wisatawan yang beragam, mengharuskan Pemerintah Kota Bandung dapat memberikan jenis wisata sepeda yang beragam. Berdasarkan persepsi dan preferensi wisatawan, bersepeda santai keliling kota menjadi prioritas utama pengembangan wisata sepeda, dengan jenis wisata alam, wisata kuliner, dan wisata heritage, sebagai daya tarik wisata paling menarik untuk berwisata sepeda. Penyediaan fasilitas penunjang wisata sepeda terpenting adalah jalur khusus sepeda, tempat parkir sepeda, dan peta/informasi rute bersepeda. Dengan atmosfir bersepeda yang aman dan nyaman, diharapkan dapat menarik minat banyak wisatawan untuk berwisata sepeda di Kota Bandung.
