Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Substations and switching stations are critical segments in power systems. The fundamental principles in selection of substation configurations are reliability, economy, and flexibility in design and operation. This chapter describes a method to perform the risk assessment for a combinative system consisting of transmission network and substation configurations. The load curtailment model for a combinative system of transmission network and substation configuration is illustrated. The chapter summarizes the risk evaluation approach and the economic analysis concept. Three examples are given in the chapter. The first one is an application of the approach to selecting substation configuration. The second one is the evaluation of effects of substation configuration changes on the risks of both source and load points. The third one provides an application of the presented method to the determination of a transmission line arrangement supplying two substations.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
