Un systeme de separation/preconcentration fut developpe pour la determination d'impuretes de Cu (II), Fe(III) et Pb(II) dans des sels de cadmium par spectrometrie d'absorption atomique a flamme (FAAS). La procedure est basee sur l'adsorption des analytes sur une resine d'Amberlite XAD-1180 enrobee de Chromotrope 2R. L'effet de quelques parametres analytiques, incluant le pH de la solution de l'echantillon, le volume d'echantillon, les effets de matrice du cadmium, et les debits des solutions d'echantillons et d'eluant, fut explore. Dans des conditions optimales, la deviation standard relative de la methode combinee de traitement de l'echantillon, preconcentration et determination par FAAS (n=7) est en general inferieure a 10%. La limite de detection (3a) se situe entre 0.024-0.20 mg/l, La methode fut appliquee a la separation et preconcentration de trois elements trace dans des solutions de sels de cadmium.
