L’analyse critique d’un état actuel de l’inscription d’une technologie dans la société est difficile puisque les imaginaires associés aux TNIC ne peuvent être facilement renvoyés à des résultats stabilisés concernant les usages. Les conditions d’une analyse sociotechnique de tels phénomènes sont évoquées dans le but de réconcilier des approches critiques et empiriques en sociologie des usages.
