La British Library, une des plus importantes bibliothèques au monde, amorcera le regroupement d’une grande partie de ses collections et de ses services par l’ouverture d’un nouveau bâtiment à St Pancras. Résultat de plusieurs compromis, le bâtiment permettra néanmoins de mieux répondre aux besoins actuels en rendant les collections plus accessibles, en offrant des programmes et des expositions à l’intention du public et en uniformisant les services aux usagers.
