Abstract
El presente artículo muestra cómo las nociones de proceso civilizatorio y de configuración contenidas en la teoría de Norbert Elias pueden utilizarse para analizar el surgimiento de las jóvenes élites simbólicas del capitalismo avanzado. Asimismo, nuestro interés por la noción eliasiana de curialización deportiva nos condujo a abordar teórica y epistemológicamente la construcción del prestigio social de la llamada “clase creativa”. Esta perspectiva también nos permitió estudiar la riqueza conceptual de las relaciones del doble vínculo establecidos-marginales, el cual liga entre sí a los jóvenes profesionistas hipermodernos.
