Abstract

ÖzetBu çalışmada okul öncesi eğitim kurumuna devam eden çocukların sosyal beceri düzeylerine, aile bireyleri ve okul öncesi eğitim kurumu çalışanları arasındaki sosyal etkileşimlerinin etkisini incelemek amaçlanmıştır.Çalışma grubunu, okul öncesi eğitim kurumuna devam eden ve öğretmenleri tarafından sosyal beceri düzeyi yüksek (n=10) ve düşük (n=10) olarak sınıflandırılan 20 çocuk oluşturmuştur.Nitel araştırma modelinde yapılan çalışmada, veri toplamak için katılımcı olmayan gözlem yönteminden yararlanılmıştır.Çocuklar, aile bireylerinin kendilerini okula bırakma ve alma zamanı olmak üzere iki farklı zaman diliminde ve iki farklı araştırmacı tarafından gözlenmiştir.Araştırma verileri betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiş, gözlem sonuçları verilmiş ve elde edilen bulgular literatür ışığında yorumlanmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda; sosyal becerileri yeterli olan okul öncesi çocukların çocuk-ebeveyn, çocuk-okul personeli, ebeveyn-okul personeli sözel ve davranışsal etkileşimlerinin, sosyal becerileri yaşıtlarından geri olanlara göre daha fazla olduğu dikkat çekmiştir.Okul öncesi çocukların sosyal becerilerinin gelişmesinde yakın çevresini oluşturan yetişkinlerin model olmasının önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğu vurgulanmıştır.
