Abstract
L'A. commence ici par une discussion methodologique, puis il donne ses raisons du choix d'un certain aspect (la tradition sacramentelle dans le catholicisme) de la culture populaire. Il propose ensuite un court expose du comment son exemple choisi fonctionne en fait dans sa capacite de mediation. Il conclut avec des recommandations sur la maniere de developper l'etude de la realite de mediation pour prendre en compte ce qu'il faut considerer comme un serieux danger pour la civilisation occidentale, a savoir son incapacite a soutenir des formes adequates de mediation en ce qui concerne la realite ultime.
