Abstract
La representacion compartida de una definicion colectiva de la identidad esta en el centro de las politicas y de la vida social como queda de manifiesto en numerosos paises que viven conflictos entre comunidades nacionales. Recordemos brevemente los aspectos principales del debate, aunque con la imposibilidad de incluir todas las ideas de los participantes Proponemos delinear los elementos que crean consenso examinando de manera critica los argumentos propuestos por unos y otros. Examinaremos en seguida los aspectos pendientes, tales como analizar el lugar que tendran en esta sociedad los angloquebequenses y los amerindios.
