Abstract

The article considers questions concerning specifics of economic relations in Internet, emerging in production, distribution and exchange of network benefits (primarily information). It describes socio-economic aspects of Internet economy, preconditions for its emergence and dialectic of development. Given a description of structure of Internet economy, its role and place in modern global economic system, it analyzed mechanism of its influence on development of individual national economies. The Internet is firmly embedded in business, creating new business models and forming such a thing as the Internet It considers role of Internet in development of economy. It is shown that use of online resources has an impact on performance and efficiency of economic activities. From standpoint of ensuring information activity positive impact of Internet on functioning of economic system was proved.
