Abstract
Les diverses representations de l’autisme que se font les psychologues qui s'occupent des personnes autistes mais aussi la capacite de l'autiste d'acceder ou non a des representations du monde qui l'entoure sont les questions mises a l'etude dans ce travail. Se representer au niveau de l'image du corps, avoir acces a une pensee fondee sur l'inscription de traces mnesiques liees a l'experience de satisfaction du bebe sont-ils des evenements totalement impossibles aux personnes autistes ? L'expression « spectre de l'autisme », marquant l'existence de diverses formes d'autisme est-elle tenable lorsque l'Autre, ou plutot son absence, devient une marque psychopathologique de structure autistique ? Quelles sont les relations entre cet Autre et l'acces a une capacite de representations chez l'etre ? Quelles seraient les specificites de la periode pubertaire dans l'autisme ? Ces diverses interrogations, sous-jacentes a la question suivante : « comment l'autiste fait-il pour vivre ? », seront traitees a travers divers cas cliniques d'adolescents autistes.
