〔目的〕本研究ではAlberta Infant Motor Scale(以下AIMS)が日本人乳幼児においても適用可能かを知る目的で,標準的なPercentile ranksに着目して,その偏りの有無を調査した。〔対象〕主に保育園5カ所に通園する保護者から同意を得た乳幼児73名であった。〔方法〕理学療法士がAIMSのテキストを翻訳し,そのガイドラインに沿って対象を評価した。〔結果〕対象者73名中Percentile ranksの5%未満に8人,5-10%に4人,10-25%に10人,25-50%に14人,50-75%に10人,75-90%に3人,90%以上に24人が含まれた。また,対象を生後12ヶ月未満に限定した場合では,有意に適合しないとはいえない(p=0.422)結果となり,適合性は悪くなかった。〔結語〕日本人乳幼児の運動発達のAIMSのPercentile ranksにおいて低値を示す傾向は見られなかった。
