Il s’agit d’une étude des rapports entre discours mythique et discours utopique. D’après l’auteur, les sociétés andines pré-hispaniques ont accédé à la logique du discours utopique grâce à l’influence du discours judéo-chrétien sur le temps et sur l’espace. L’analyse de quelques fragments du cycle du héros andin Inkarri permet à l’auteur d’établir sa thèse.
