espanolEl objetivo fue dar a conocer la creacion de la Revista Cientifica UDO Agricola, asi como las caracteristicas mas importantes que definen a la misma como lo son las indexaciones, los articulos publicados, sus estatutos, normas de publiacion y normas para los revisores. La creacion de La Revista Cientifica UDO Agricola fue aprobada en reunion de Consejo de Escuela No 09 de fecha 14 de diciembre de 2000, siendo sus Editores Fundadores los Profesores Jesus Rafael Mendez Natera y Victor Alejandro Otahola Gomez y su primer Comite Editorial estuvo integrado por los Profesores Vicente Arturo Michelena Alegria (Departamento de Agronomia), Jose Alexander Gil Marin (Departamento de Ingenieria Agricola) y Jesus Rodriguez (Departamento de Economia Agricola y Ciencias Sociales). La Revista Cientifica UDO Agricola obtuvo el Deposito Legal y el ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) o Numero Internacional Normalizado de Publicaciones Seriadas en el ano 2001. El Deposito Legal es pp200102Mo1203 y el ISSN es 1317-9152. Las indexaciones mas importantes de la Revista Cientifica UDO Agricola son Bioline International System, Canada; Indice y Biblioteca Electronica de Revistas Venezolanas de Ciencia y Tecnologia (REVENCYT); CABI Abstracts Database (Reino Unido); Catalogo de Latindex (Mexico), Scopus (Holanda), Registro (Acreditacion) de Publicaciones Cientificas y Tecnologicas Venezolanas del FONACIT, Base de Datos Periodica (Mexico); Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) (Suecia); Difusion de Alertas en la Red (Dialnet) (Espana) y Zoological Record (ISI Web of Knowledge), entrando con este ultimo al Listado Master de Revistas (Master Journal List) de Thomson Reuters. La Revista Cientifica UDO Agricola cuenta con sus estatutos, instrucciones para la publicacion de articulos, instructions for publication of papers, hoja de evaluacion de los articulos y evaluation sheet of papers. Tambien cuenta con un indice acumulado de articulos, indice acumulado de temas (palabras clave y key words), indice acumulado de autores e indice acumulado de arbitros (revisores). EnglishThe objective was to present the creation of the Scientific Journal UDO Agricola, as well as the most important features that define it: indexing published articles, statutes, author and reviwer instruction. The creation of the Revista Cientifica UDO Agricola (Scientific Journal UDO Agricola) was approved by the Consejo de Escuela (School Board) in meeting No 09, dated December 14 2000, being its Editors in Chief Profs. Jesus Mendez and Victor Otahola and an Editorial Committee composed by Prof. Vicente Arturo Michelena Alegria (Agronomy Department), Jose Alexander Gil Narin (Agricultural Engineering Department) and Jesus Rodriguez (Agricultural Economics and Social Sciences Department). The journal got its Legal Deposit (Deposito Legal) and ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) in 2001. The Legal Deposit is pp200102Mo1203 and ISSN is 1317-9152.
