Abstract
No breve ensaio questiono o papel da tecnologia no mundo em que vivemos diante do sombrio enfoque do canadense George Grant e do impacto das reformas escolares globais de cunho empresarial. Em toda parte, ao que parece, a tecnologia é a resposta para a pergunta canônica do currículo: qual conhecimento tem mais valor? Tendo seus elementos éticos, históricos e culturais ignorados, a questão do currículo é agora respondida apenas, ou ao menos com mais intensidade, por aqueles que se dedicam à vida humana decodificada em uma única forma: bem-paga, confortável, conectada.
