Abstract
S’inscrivant dans une réflexion sur la participation citoyenne, cet article présente une recherche-action qui accompagne un projet pédagogique visant la co-construction de savoirs par des jeunes collégiens et lycéens à propos de leur territoire. Ce territoire est très spécifique : il s’agit d’une banlieue parisienne dite sensible, le département de Seine-Saint-Denis. Notre démarche pédagogique s’inscrit dans un ancrage territorial fort, à partir d’une lecture critique des lieux de vie des élèves, mais aussi à partir d’investigations diverses auprès des habitants et des acteurs locaux. L’analyse des résultats issus d’un premier bilan effectué sous forme d’entretiens auprès des élèves nous permet de mettre en évidence chez certains d’entre eux la construction d’un rapport plus distancié par rapport à leur territoire, qui peut également évoluer vers des sentiments d’appartenance et d’engagement.
