Abstract
La transaction est une notion importée de plusieurs courants de recherche à l’intersection de l’économie et de la sociologie ou encore de la psychologie. Dans la francophonie, elle est dynamique en sociologie à travers le concept de transaction sociale. En SIC, ou plus particulièrement en communication des organisations, bien que ce qu’il est maintenant convenu d’appeler l’École de Montréal en a fait une notion importante du modèle conversation/texte, elle a connu une diffusion timide en dehors de sa définition courante. Pourtant un enrichissement mutuel entre les différents courants est possible à la fois sur le plan épistémologique et conceptuel. Qui plus est elle pourrait être une notion centrale pour conceptualiser la performativité de la communication organisationnelle aussi bien en termes de pouvoir, de coopération ou de conflit.
